More Group Projects

The purpose of this project was for my group and I to create a company that fulfilled a need in the fashion industry. At the time, we felt that the idea had potential of being a resource that makes online shopping easier for consumers and beneficial for e-commerce stores. This in particular was our pitch deck that we had to present to our professor and classmates but prior to creating this pitch deck, my group and I spent long nights on zoom together creating an almost 100 page business plan.

My role for this project consisted of doing research related to competition + contributing to the creation of the business plan + taking part in the presentation of our pitch deck POWERPOINT.

In light of all that the world had been experiencing due to the pandemic & violence, our group decided to focus our Senior Impact Project on mental health. Each of us thought out ways in which we could create a space that provided a sense of community along with providing help in the spaces we'd make available. Through this project, we were able to thoughtfully plan out our contributions from a community building and philanthropy perspective as soon to be graduates.

My role for this project consisted of researching and presenting details related to the Company Goals & Objectives + SWOT analysis + Marketing Campaign & Strategy portions of the POWERPOINT.

Throughout our Public Relations course, my group and I learned about the key aspects of how PR can have an impact on the reputation of a company. For this project, our professor wanted us to conduct research on the company chosen and create a plan for ways in which it could improve they way customers, shareholders, etc view the company's image.

My role for this project consisted of researching details related to Secondary & Primary research + Analysis of stakeholders + full SWOT analysis for the DOCUMENT.

Fashion is full of glitz and glam which is what something that initially sparked my interest in the industry. After taking a fashion law class, I soon realized how much there also needs to be a focus on the business of fashion too. For this course, my group and I were assigned the Lois vs Levi case and  had to present key details to our class. It was a learning experience that showed me how small details on clothing can possibly lead to an infringement case.

My role for this project consisted of meeting for several hours with my group members and each of us went through the case in full to discuss what would be the most important details to present + design of the POWERPOINT.

After having learned about developed and undeveloped countries in the textile industry, my partner and I were assigned to present details about Malaysia's textile industry. Together we found details related to general background info,  history of Malaysia's textile and apparel industry in the past & present,  imports & exports,  role in global trade and production, and many other facts. Our findings helped us to inform our classmates not only from an academic perspective but also from a consumer perspective. POWERPOINT.

For this retailing course, my group and I learned about  the importance of organizational structure, store location, image, visual merchandising, and more. Being totally honest, the process of completing this project from start to finish throughout the semester was dreadful due to the dynamics of our group not working well together. What this experienced help me learn was the importance of really getting a true understanding of people before deciding to work with them. Overall the presentation of the POWERPOINT went okay but I did expect more from the result of this project.
